Many
of our Customers are still using Windows XP
Service Pack 2
Microsoft will officially retireWindows XP
Service Pack 2 on July 13.
After that date, although it will continue to
provide security updates for XP
Service Pack 3, it will stop issuing patches for
the older Service Pack 2.
What this means for my business:
1. Left unpatched, this could leave your
operating system vulnerable to new viruses and
exploits as well as other security risks that
are discovered.
2. Microsoft will no longer release updates in
order to fix these issues that arise in SP2.
If you have not done so already, update your
operating system to the latest Service Pack or
contact us and we will help you with the
changeover into Microsoft’s Windows 7 Operating
System.
